Box Work

Double Box work drills for Agility. Improve your timing and teamwork.

Getting Ready for your First Trial!

Monday September 12th 6-8pm ( rain date Friday 9/16) Outdoors. This workshop will
cover: how to enter a trial, how to fill out the paperwork, how to get registered for the
different venues. General rules for each venue and their differences. We will go over how
to read the course map. Walk a novice level course, decide on handling options and run
the course. The cost is $40

Rear Crosses. How to Perfect them and Know when to use
them!

Monday September 19th 6-8pm (rain date Friday 9/23) Outdoors. This workshop is for
dog/handlers who are show ready and having trouble with Rear Crosses. We will review
how to handle a recross, and exercises to help the dog understand the mechanics of the
rear cross. We will then run sequences involving rear crosses, determining where and
when to put them in. The cost is $40

Games Workshop.

Monday September 26th 6-8pm.(rain date Friday 9/30) Outdoors. This workshop will
cover the rules and how to play some of the Games classes in Agility. We will discuss
rules, strategy, and how to train specific handling challenges. To be discussed, Snooker,
Gamblers, Fast, Time to Beat. We will then practice skill needed for each game.

Please note if a workshop is rained out, it will move to the date listed. Make sure
both dates work for you, or you are willing to give your spot to someone else. There
will be no refunds once a spot is held for you unless we can fill the spot.
