Agility Workshop

Sunday June 7th , 2009
“Skills, Drills & Handling for the Green Dog or Green
Handler”
9:30 am to 2:00 pm (1/2 hour break for lunch) Cost $80 for a Working Spot. This
Workshop will be outdoors in a fenced 80x120 agility ring. If it rains, we will move
indoors to the Clever K9 indoor facility. (coffee and doughnuts included. Please Bring
your own lunch and drinks )

Skills, Drills & Handling for the Green Dog or Green
Handler:

This seminar is for the young or green dog that has learned all of the
equipment, but may not be at full height. Your dog should have been
introduced to weave poles, and be doing short sequences. This
Workshop is Also for the Green Handler who needs to learn more about
the dog training skills needed for agility. The drills will help you and your
green dog improve the handling skills needed to navigate your courses.
This workshop will also be beneficial for dogs who have stress issues in
any area of agility. We will be using, toys , food and you to motivate your
dog and build their confidence in agility.

All contact equipment will not be at full height. Channel weaves as well as
guides will be available for dogs who need them. This work shop will help
you strengthen your dogs contacts, improve their weave pole skills,
develop their jumping skills, bring out your dogs speed and confidence .
We will be working on developing the handlings skills needed to make you
and your new agility partner a team, that works in harmony.

This is an Advanced Beginner Agility Seminar.   It is open to any dog that
has been introduced to All equipment and is doing short sequences.   This
will not be open to Very Beginner Dogs. Enrollment is limited.
