" I have No Plan!" Course Analysis Workshop

This workshop will focus on that famous phrase, " I have no plan" So many
students comment after walking their course, I have no plan. I am so lost, or I
can't decide what I should do. We will anaylize each course :
-The map
-The dog's path
-The handler's path
-The handling options
-How to make your handling choices
-How to remember your course
-Then we will put your plan to work and practice the courses.

8am to 12pm $60 per team. Limit of 8 teams. Please contact Ann for more

Saturday, Sept 25:
The Next Step: Creating Your Routine - Perfect for handlers
with some freestyle experience and “vocabulary”. Learn a
systematic approach to creating your own routine for your
unique team! (prerequisite: Some freestyle experience or
having completed Introduction to Canine Freestyle) 10:00am –
12:30pm

Moving Forward: Intermediate Handler’s Workshop - Whether
you want to perform for demonstrations or for competition,
this workshop will teach you how to have presence in the ring.
Learn how to enhance your dog’s movements without ever
dancing! (This workshop is for experienced handlers and is
the perfect follow up from The Next Step) 1:30pm – 4:00pm

Sunday, Sept 26:
Stepping Out: Preparing For Performance – Training for
competition or demonstrations, this workshop gives you step
by step tips for improving performance presentation and
gaining confidence in both yourself and your dog. 10:00am –
12:30pm

Private Lessons Sunday only: 30 minute sessions $40 - 1:
00pm – 3:00pm, 3:30 – 4:30pm
Please schedule with Judy separately for time. Do not include
payment until private is confirmed as available.

Judy Gamet, BS Dance Education, has been handling
Rottweilers for over 20 years in the sports of canine freestyle,
rally obedience, traditional obedience, tracking and
Schutzhund. Judy has been choreographing and coaching
competition teams across the country since 2001. She
recently completed choreographing and filming for the movie
Doggie Boogie. Judy encourages all handlers in the sport of
freestyle to always respect and glorify their dogs.

Introduction to Rally Obedience
with Renee Shriver

Date: Saturday July 31
Time: 3:00 pm -6:00
Cost: $30

You will find out what Rally Obedience is and learn the novice
level signs.
Rally Obedience is a team sport that is a fun and exciting for
dogs and their handlers!
You and your dog will learn to navigate a course with
numbered signs that indicate different exercises that you will
perform as a team. This is a sport that all dogs and handlers
can learn. Teams navigate the course without direction from
the judge and the handlers are encouraged to talk to their dogs
throughout their performance.

Prerequisites: Dogs must have basic obedience skills

Canine Musical Freestyle Workshop
with Renee Shriver

Date: Friday August 27, 2010
Time: 7:00 pm -10:00
Cost: $30

Do you enjoy obedience, rally, agility, music, doing tricks with
your dog, dancing or just having fun with your dog? You can
use the skills your dog already has and enjoys in this sport and
learn many new ones.
Do you have a therapy dog? This will give you some great
tricks to use to entertain everyone you visit?
During this workshop you will learn what Canine Musical
Freestyle is!! NO dancing skills are required by the dog or the
human.
