| Why Use Doggie Daycare? Doggie daycare is much like daycare for human children. Dogs are social animals and while with us your dog will become socialized while exercising his mind and learning new skills. These activities will help your dog to be a better family member by teaching self-control, obedience and how to share toys. Remember that dogs can provide each other with a different form of stimulation than people can. We have professional dogs trainers watching after your dog while you are away. We can’t take your place but we can provide them with love and attention while you are away. We believe a well-exercised and socialized dog is a good dog! The Daycare environment allows dogs to expend energy in a constructive way. We provide a clean, safe and enriching environment for your dog. We offer indoor and outdoor play. All dogs are interviewed to be sure that they are a good match for the daycare environment. No dogs with people, dog, toy or food aggression will be allowed to be in daycare. At Clever K9 our staff are the “alpha” which gives your dog a better experience than playing at a dog park. Your dogs will quickly learn to recognize the staff as the leaders of the pack. We formulate play groups that will match dogs by play style and size. We also have puppy groups where they will learn to interact with other dogs appropriately. Your dog will have access to water, playmates and plenty of TLC while they are at Clever K9 Doggie Daycare. Just like children the dogs will have nap time from 12 till 2. During this time the lights will be turned off, lunch will be fed and there will be no pickups or drop offs. Nap time will let those who stay the whole day be able to recharge their batteries for an afternoon of fun. Specialized training is available. We have several plans that you can choose from.
