Agility Classes
Winter Classes are Held Indoors.    Heated, Agiliflex flooring.
50x70 training area and indoor bathroom.  All other classes
are held outdoors in a   80x120 fenced, lighted ring.

                         
Classes run for six weeks.  $135   Drop in’s are $25 if class is not full. See
class descriptions below.  All Classes this session are indoors.

There are NO refunds 7 days prior to the start of any class,  Unless we cancel a class
due to lack of enrollment.   You will then be given a chance to move to another class or
a refund.  There are no credits if you miss a class.   If you miss a class, you can
makeup the class you missed in a class of the same or similar level with instructor
approval.

Class Descriptions:

Beginner Agility-  This one hour class will cover all of the basic introductory skills for
agility.  Including sit, down, come, target training , wait, go jump, come jump, get out,
come in etc… and introduction to all equipment at low heights.  Intro to weave poles,
and ground work for all basic crosses.

Beginner Agility II- Continuation of Beginner Agility.  Continued work on all basic
skills,  and progression of teaching all equipment, including weave poles.  Handling
skills introduced.

Beginner Agility III- Continuation of Beginner Agility II.  Perfecting basic skill work and
crosses.  Increasing perfection on Targeting.  Increased progression of  skills needed
for all equipment including weave poles.  Short sequences.  Handling skills will be
taught.

Advanced Beginners Agility-  This class is for dogs who have learned all equipment
but are not at full height and still working on perfecting the performance at each
obstacles.  Weave poles will be covered as well as short sequences that include
working on basic crosses.  Emphasis  will be put on handling skills.

Novice Agility- This class is for dogs who can perform all obstacles, including weave
poles but are working on perfecting these skills.  Handling skills and course analysis
are covered.  Skill work and courses are covered.

Open Agility- This class is for dogs at the novice and open level who are getting ready
to show in Novice or Open.  Advanced handling and skill work will be covered.   
Courses will be run.

Excellent Agility-This class is for dogs at the open/excellent level who finishing up
Open or in Excellent.  Advanced handling, skill work and course analysis will be
covered.  Emphasis will be on perfecting the team work for faster, better courses at
the trials.

Just Weaves!- This class will be a 6 week progression of improving weave poles for
green dogs.  We will start with open channels and guides.  Each week the progression
will be to close the guides till fully closed with just guides and then we will progress to
removing the guides.  Emphasis will be on fast, rock solid weaves and entries.  We
will be doing alot of jackpotting with food and toys.   Dogs must be old enough to do
straight weaves.   Sorry, no puppies.

Just Contacts!-  This class will be a 6 week course focusing on contact performance
and discrimination.  We will work on getting solid 2 on 2 off or 4 on the floor contacts.  
This will include targeting and distance work.   Short sequences will be included.  
Dogs must be able to do full height on all contacts.  (A frame, Teeter, dogwalk and
table will be  used)
